I also bought a $99 caricatura course. I paid a $100 to watch some videos and do some homework and be part of a Facebook group. At the caricaturists is an absolute master and I learned so much by watching him and in this part to course I am learning a new were way of doing caricaturists no more Reilley method and no more doing 3 thumbnails before I start the sketch I hated that that took way too long.
I want to be the best political cartoonist in the world and I may not have enough for skills yet but by trump 2020.. I can help get him there I feel I will be rewarded in my confidence self esteem that I’m finally for the 1st time actually good at something and I’m not working for anyone else and I’m doing this not for money. And knowing that I have to send him a text a political cartoon a night it’s the motivation and pressure I need so I don’t slack off.
I’m doing this because I want to be the best at a skill…I think I can be competitive and it’s not that I have a good technique ..or I do caricatures good .. I read between the lines I look at all the news pictures and I try to be current for example if I’m about to post a cartoon I have to check drudge report first. to make sure the story hasn’t updated because it has to be current and I take images from news articles and sometimes I’ll take a headline and mix it with another headline…with the images..I mix up the images ..in one day..so it’s really an art form.
I use symbols ..and I try to make it so the longer you stare at the cartoon the more u see..
I done all the other family and I believe in trump dynasty. I’m getting better so if you see a cartoon that doesn’t make someone look good it’s because I’m trying but I couldn’t quite get it right. I may not have drawn flattering caricatures but that’s something I have to learn. I do get better at it.
