I have thousands of old sketches. I go back in time and see alot of technical mistakes I can now fix, and why not turn them into NFTS?
Alot of my polygon listings are expired which means I have to mint myself with ethereum. It is so expensive to mint. Getting more. Getting them minted free with polygon, cements that to polygon, you can never go back to ethereum. If you create it with ethereum, you cant sell it unless its minted which costs money. So noone sees it, on my page, unless they have the link..I am thinking, the system is a little rigged. That is on open sea. Now Rarible, you can list them for sale, but they are not minted unless the buyer pays for it. So its like uploading to social media, your art. Not an nft until someone buys it. I am a political cartoonist. I am not a promoter. I am not big on contests, and I dont have a youtube video talking about them. I am not paying promoters. I get so spammed by them on socials. Everyone wants me to pay them to promote them on their social media.

And as for my Twitter. I can have ONE POST of original art, posted with 5k followers. Used to be double that. And a week later I look at the stats, and it says, 50 impressions, 7 engagements. How is that possible. And I have retweeted it too. And I have hashtagged, very very famous people in the post. How is that possible? Is it possible to be on Twitter since the very beginning and never have a viral tweet? I see accounts that have 100 followers get viral tweets. Is it possible to have that bad of luck? Am I being protected, or am I being hidden?

Literally after all my posts comments retweets, I sign into Twitter this morning, and there are no notifications. After about 24 hours.
Rewarding people with a checkmark.. and others ..not … for no discernible reason.. except they are a pet favorite . can also be suspicious..
And why I never got a checkmark? I applied, sent in everything they need. What makes a checkmark legit? What does it really mean? What test do you have to pass, because I see blue checkmarks on those with 100 followers.
Now I cant add anyone as a friend anymore on Twitter. I cannot follow back and get new information. So my news, is kind of stale. It is in a rut. I need to move forward, new writers journalists are popping up. It is a terrible way to be for social media. I see people with millions of subs and they can add me as a friend just fine. Why cannot I add people? I never had this issue even when I was almost up to 10k followers. I ADDED WHO I WANTED. And I was growing everyday my followers. Maybe 100 a day.. Now, nothing. It has been this way for about 6 months. I have been stunted. It is like they want me in a wheelchair with no legs. I hate Twitter for this and I want them to pay. Whatever they did to me, I want done back, to all of them w…ho wear Twitter on their sleeve. I want them to have what was done to me. I give it back with love. I do not want it. I reject it, I give it back this gift of chains going on willingly. I put them on you. You can take them off if you want. If you want. If you want. Attention is judgment. Noone wants to be judged by the left. Usually the best way to get rid of someone is to put them on the front stage. To see if they survive. And when it comes down to willpower. I do love drawing. Its what I love to do. Its my escape. Its my focus. Its my perfection. It’s what I know how to do. And my style, is my style with the time I have. If I have more I could do better. Almost everything works against me. Almost everybody disrespects my dream. To my face sometimes. When I feel I created the most beautiful thing..it’s like all I get is, ” Better”. I get 12 seconds of attention. And when I look at a cartoon, by someone else I spend at least 2 minutes.
AND MOST MEMES are not POLITICAL CARTOONS> They are NOT original art. They cut and paste copyrighted stuff. They do compositing. It is not art. Its like Andy Warhol using the same NPC faces. There is something missing. It is like copying to make it look like it comes from above. If you are going to make a meme, why not draw or paint it yourself? There is a YUGE difference in quality and in the future, its the original art, that will be in museums…in collections. Taking a supermodel pic of angelina jolie and covering it with eyeliner, its not an OG, sorry.
But I do appreciate the Saturday morning cartoons, everyone has a chance to help. They are funny, the collages. But in art school, you would not be allowed to get away with that stuff. They call it PLAGIARISM. I never though Picasso was a great artist, but he was a businessman. I am a little different. I am an ARTIST. In my soul. I do everything with art, I flow.
I have a big problem charging a conservative, a lot of money for commissions. Making money is not my talent. Expressing myself is. When I was in an art gallery in Valencia Street San Francisco. I sold my art, for 20$ Why charge people 300$ for something that comes, so easily? Unless they are really paying for the gold frame.. Sometimes I save the portraits before putting in the words or extra character, I draw the photo, paint it, before I use it in a cartoon. I gotten better drawing, so why not rework some, and kind of make them better?
