All ages shows were the thing to do there was no Internet there was no cell phone all there was was each other and our journals..and the record store.

Cro mags Harley Flanagan once showed me a picture of him with him and Joe Strummer from the clash when he was 10 years old. They raised him. The scene raised him it was very family like. Harley was my 1st.

We were anti racist hardcore kids.. and battled the nazi skinheads . We were all packed in clubs every weekend just kids singing every word to every song.. All the shows they were all ages shows so even when I was in high school I would go..

I was friends with the dj of the hardcore show every Thursday night at Buffalo state University college radio station. My bedroom walls were covered and flyers for hardcore shows like gorilla biscuits..

Positive stuff about having friends and being there for one another and back-to-back kind of feeling.. Seen everybody from 7 seconds to Dag nasty.

This was before Green Day.. Ruined it. Went commercial!

So the DJ to the college radio station hardcore show.. I was his friend.. I was only 15 years old..and he would always invite me to his house.. when he had a band staying over ..on tour..because he did all the shows.. He like booked shows..so I met everybody.. I knew all the bands and the sharp kids..

I knew many bands that you would recognize the names and I would tour with them sometimes.. I’ve always been ashamed of this but when I heard Alex Jones talking about it I’m not afraid anymore..

We were the good kids and we just needed a family.. and it was tight and they had my back and I had theirs and they were always there in case I fell..

I WAS A MOSH PITTER DIVER..YES There was a lot of hardcore shows ..7 dollars..and there was unity trying to keep all the music out of big business.

They got off on that energy of being hated so just like today #antifa is hating they’re getting power from being hated.

The music the white power kids listened to has absolutely horrible it was like folk music. About Jews and blacks and Hitler. As offensive as you can be. They wore swastika and iron cross tattoos.. just like Katie Hill was wearing next to her wa wa. She grew up to be a Democrat antifa. Almost every high school in America had them.

I have Seen top conservative leaders that I admire ..call out fellow patriots for something they’ve done or like joy villa being a scientologist.. Or into the fetish Goth scene that was popular too. .. Rocky horror picture show was a very popular thing there was no Internet back then there was just the scene that was it that’s all you had.. they call her out for that.. Our own shames our own..they call her out for that ..

Nobody had a cell phone back then you couldn’t search the Internet all you had was the library and the mall. Which always had a record store. Life was different back then kids were walking around entire cities on their own as young as 11. Going to pools than going to the library then going to the ice cream shop. Politically the eighties were hell nothing made sense on TV it was like when you’re a little kid .. and your parents are watching it a movie it makes no sense.
