Short story time

I am part German .. part Paraguayan Mestizo.🥰 Now we all take our genealogy and family history for granted so I do not know what I am saying about my ancestry is true or not 🤩my grandfather was German and my grandmother was Volga German I think they were both Volga German🤩 from the Volga River 😙and they escaped the Bolsheviks 🙃that’s the story but who knows 😂because when my grandfather was born and his grandfather 😚America the Midwest was just being populated😛 and there was a bunch of Orphan Train children that were spread out everywhere they were raffled off giving away send him the post mail babies 😙they were infantariums..and so it’s very hard to say for sure that my grandfather was born from a German family 😃he could have been an orphan from Ireland 😆and I do know that he had a name change from Valentine to his German sounding name Veldon 🥰so how can we know for sure because the Orphans of America they were called the foundlings😋 and many Americans are descended from them 🤩and they just do not know it cuz they took on the genealogy of their adoptive parents 😇birth certificates were given away like candy😙 so I can’t say I know for sure but I do know that that side of the family speaks German and Cooks German food😅 nobody knows.

As a child I took up embroidery they call it Yanduti. It’s the only bilingual country in South America they speak both Spanish and Indian in one called guarani. And I can speak that too as well as Spanish as well as English
